Commissioning a painting allows you to own a unique, personalized piece tailored to your space. It’s an opportunity to work with me where I paint a subject in a size to match your preferences, ensuring a one-of-a-kind artwork with sentimental or aesthetic value.
The task starts with scoping the work you have in mind. Typically we’ll discuss, theme, size, media, timing, budget, T&Cs. An site visit is recommended to guage the size of the work for your home.
On agreement, rough sketches are made up and the painting begins. At certain intervals you’ll receive images showing the progress being made. If you are local, a studio visit is encouraged. Finally, the finished work is shown for your approval, prior to varnishing and framing
If you wish to gift your commission for an upcoming occasion please get in touch at least 6-8 weeks beforehand.
