Commissioning a painting allows you to own a unique, personalized piece tailored to your space. It’s an opportunity to work with me where I paint a subject in a size to match your preferences, ensuring a one-of-a-kind artwork with sentimental and aesthetic value.
A site visit is recommended to gauge the size of the work. Then we can discuss theme, media, timing, budget etc.
On agreement, rough sketches are made up and the painting begins. At certain intervals you’ll receive images showing the progress being made. If you’re local, a studio visit is encouraged. Finally, the finished work is shown for your approval, prior to varnishing and framing.
If you wish to gift your commission for an upcoming occasion please get in touch at least 6-8 weeks beforehand.
